Developed and enhanced a co-living and rental platform for the Belgian market that actually feels like the thing it's selling: easy, social, shared living.
Most real estate platforms feel like a spreadsheet wearing a website. Coloc Housing wanted something different, and that's what we built.
Key highlights:
Ruby on Rails backend with React and Storybook on the frontend
Tailwind and MUI for a UI that skips the generic property-site look
Sidekiq running background jobs so nothing blocks the user while things sync
Stripe and Twikey handling payments without adding friction
Recaptcha for security
Apex Charts giving the team real visibility into occupancy and performance
The result: a co-living platform that runs smooth for people finding a room, and just as smooth for the team managing the houses.
