The Copa is a cooperative of fruit and horticultural product producers, established in 1986 with 23 founding members. In 1992, it initiated operations by constructing a Fruit Central facility with the primary objective of receiving, selecting, packaging, preserving, and marketing the horticultural and fruit products grown by its members.
