Convexity - Product Launch Video

This is a 45-second product video produced for Convexity, an energy modelling platform by Bayesian Energy positioned as a modern alternative to legacy tools.
The challenge: speak to a technical, skeptical audience — energy analysts who've been burned by clunky, proprietary software before — without resorting to typical SaaS marketing language. The strategy was to lead with the pain of legacy software, land on a modern experience, and let the product's standout AI feature carry the second half of the video.

Storyboard v2
Every scene was mapped and approved before animation began — shot composition, UI placement, and pacing locked in on paper first. This step matters most when the product itself is the visual language: getting it wrong here means expensive rework later.
The video went through two rounds of revision. The first direction was bold and graphic-forward; the second pulled back to a more understated visual language that better matched a technical audience, and made room to spotlight an AI agent feature that had just landed with users.
Initial Sound Design + Animation Sample
A short animated sample with sound design attached, used to confirm pacing and motion language before committing to full production. This is the checkpoint where movement, timing, and feel get tested — well before a single full scene is finished.
Product Video Breakdown
Breakdown:
Problem — legacy software fatigue
Solution — Convexity's modern interface
Demo — the AI agent in action
Features — scenario variety, plain-English constraints
CTA — book a demo
Built for a technical audience that doesn't respond to typical SaaS marketing — strategic brief, considered iteration, and a structure designed to earn attention before asking for anything.
