Dramaturgical Research | The Wolves

During my time at Appalachian State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance I was fortunate enough to work as production dramaturg on a variety of different plays. The role of a dramaturg is defined in many different ways, but I like to describe it as finding and filling the gaps in information between the text and the audience in order to make the production accessible and meaningful to all. The position includes script analysis, research, interpretation, and communication with the production team, cast, and audience.
