GENUINE CLOTHING Retail Space Design

This project involves the complete interior and exterior concept design and 3D visualization for "GENUINE CLOTHING," a modern retail space specializing in contemporary apparel. The design challenge was to create a brand environment that feels premium, minimalist, and inviting, effectively blending industrial elements with warm, natural textures. Key features include a bold black and white color palette, strategic lighting design, and the use of natural wood textures to introduce warmth and visual interest. The final deliverables were a set of high-fidelity 3D renderings that convey the store's complete look and feel prior to construction.

The primary goal of this project was to establish a strong, cohesive, and high-end brand identity within a physical retail space. Specifically, the design aimed to:

Maximize Visual Appeal: Create a compelling storefront display (mannequins, exterior signage) to draw in passing traffic.

Optimize Customer Flow: Utilize a clear, open-plan layout with varied display fixtures (shelving, hanging rails, central platform) to encourage exploration.

Elevate the Brand Experience: Design a striking cash wrap area (featuring the marble and black counter with backlighting) to serve as a focal point and reinforce the brand's modern aesthetic.

Create a Modern Mood: Employ a dramatic lighting scheme—using black track lights and delicate hanging fixtures—to highlight products and set a sophisticated atmosphere.

My responsibilities covered all phases of the store design, from concept development to final presentation:

Concept Development: Defined the store's aesthetic direction, material selection (marble, black metal, light wood), and color scheme.

Space Planning & Layout: Developed the floor plan, determining the optimal placement for the cashier station, fitting rooms, shelving, and central display platforms.

Fixture Design & Sourcing: Designed or specified all custom fixtures, including the central wooden/black display cylinders, wall-mounted racks, and multi-tier shelving units.

Lighting Design: Developed a comprehensive lighting plan, choosing track lighting for product focus and decorative pendants for ambiance.

3D Modeling and Rendering: Created all 3D models and produced the photorealistic renderings seen in the portfolio using
