On Demand Gig Marketplace User Experience Design



Fuzul a true on demand gig economy marketplace.

Objective: To transform the digital ecosystem of the gig market economy, addressing critical pain points experienced by both consumers and service providers.

Background: In the rapidly evolving gig market economy, there's a pronounced need to streamline operations and enhance the digital touchpoints for both service providers and consumers. My role in this project was to lead the UX design while integrating critical feedback from user research, ensuring the solution is both intuitive and meets the market's demands.





Solution Blueprint:

1. Unified Platform: Designed an all-in-one application where users can both post and receive job opportunities, eliminating the need for multiple tools or platforms.
2. Enhanced Security: Introduced a two-way security protocol at the job site, ensuring both consumers and service providers experience a secure transaction environment.
3. Self-Service Assistance: Integrated a self-help customer service module, offering immediate solutions and reducing the dependency on human intervention.
4. Transparent Pricing: Instituted a fair market pricing mechanism, providing real-time pricing guidelines based on market demand and supply.
5. Quick Service Turnaround: Implemented a feature for consumers to find and hire service providers on the same day, minimizing downtime.
6. Efficient Invoicing System: Overhauled the invoicing process, making it more transparent, user-friendly, and easy to track for both parties.
7. Dynamic Bidding: Introduced a bidding system, allowing providers the flexibility to bid for jobs or place counteroffers, fostering a competitive yet fair marketplace.





Conclusion:By spearheading these design initiatives and incorporating feedback from intensive product research, we achieved a cohesive solution that not only elevates the user experience but also addresses the foundational needs of the gig market economy. The revamped platform ensures a more streamlined, secure, and efficient process for all stakeholders involved.
