I created the portraits for four of the characters from Alyssa Markins’ newest book, Perilous Star.

Portrait of the main character, Kaeli, from Perilous Star.
Author, Alyssa Markins, commissioned me to bring four of her book characters to life with portrait artwork. She gave me descriptions from the book about their look and personality and inspiration images that she looked at while writing about the characters. I used all of these to inform how I crafted the portraits of these characters.
