A roaster selling six rotating origins. The catalogue changes every week, so the grid had to survive that — nothing is hard-coded.
What I built
Shopify Liquid with metafields and sections:
The product grid is driven by collections, not hand-written markup
Grind and subscription handled as variants, with an AJAX cart
Six homepage sections, reorderable by the owner
Roast date rendered per product from a metafield
Why it matters
The owner adds a new origin in the Shopify admin and the storefront picks it up. No developer, no theme edit. For a shop whose catalogue turns over weekly, that is the difference between a site that works and a site that needs a retainer to stay accurate.
Self-initiated concept build — design and front-end all mine.
