When I started playing with Maya, the journey began with diving head-first into complex rigging systems, animation techniques that usually take YEARS to master and most importantly - a ridiculous amount of confidence in myself that I "COULD" use this software in less than a month IF used like a broadsword - that is - swinging the sword from side to side ALSO known as bashing my head in with YouTube tutorials until my brain EXHAUSTS itself !
My scene took about 13 hours of development time and would run at 15 frames per second
This is a dim, dingy, dark bathroom which I limited myself to 5 days to make using free assets
My fourteenth (or fifteenth, I have too many scenes on my hard drive) in Maya was focused on overall feel the background.
Making buildings in Maya like this one that were made from free assets were incredibly difficult and rewarding
Concrete Jungle - Being chased by a monster in a concrete apartment building
Virtuoso - A funny horror game about playing piano where the piano keeps running away
Data breach - A game focused on following green lights in a sewer
Blue Boy - A 2D hyper-realistic game about editing DNA and the human condition
