MOD POP is a Snapchat AR Lens inspired by the bold, playful aesthetic of 1960s mod culture. The Lens transforms users with voluminous retro hairstyles, vibrant pop-art makeup, and interactive bubble animations that react to facial movements.

The concept blends nostalgia with modern AR technology, creating an experience that feels both vintage and futuristic. Every detail, from the exaggerated lashes to the color palette, was designed to capture the spirit of 60s fashion icons while keeping the interaction fun and shareable.

Built entirely in Snap's Easy Lens tool, the project went through multiple iterations to refine the hairstyle geometry, makeup placement, and bubble interaction timing. Each version was tested on AI-generated models to ensure the effects worked across different face shapes and skin tones.

Special effects were layered in to add depth and visual interest beyond the core face transformation.
