I built an intelligent email automation system using n8n, Gmail, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript to streamline responses to frequently asked questions.
The workflow automatically:
Monitors incoming Gmail messages.
Identifies FAQ categories based on email content.
Retrieves approved answers from a PostgreSQL knowledge base.
Creates Gmail reply drafts using verified information.
Flags unmatched questions for manual review.
Prevents duplicate drafts and maintains email conversation threading.
The system keeps a human in control by preparing drafts rather than automatically sending replies.
Technologies: n8n, Gmail API, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, SQL.
