The Project
A full-stack trading card portfolio application for serious collectors — built to track vault value across multiple card games, surface hot movers, monitor live trades, and give collectors an AI-powered edge when evaluating whether a trade is worth taking.
Most collectors track their cards in spreadsheets or not at all. This app treats a card collection like a portfolio — with real valuations, market movement, and AI analysis baked in.
What I Built
Vault Dashboard:
A live portfolio tracker showing total vault value with all-time performance percentage. Every card in the vault displays current market value, condition, set, and price trend. Cards from Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, and Lorcana all tracked in a single dashboard.
Hot Right Now Feed:
A curated surface of the highest-momentum cards in the vault — showing which cards are appreciating fastest with percentage gains. Highlights standouts like:
Charizard ex Special Illustration Rare (Paldean Fates) — $115.50, +12.5%
The One Ring #0300 (Lord of the Rings MTG) — $65.20, +5.2%

Live Trade Feed:
Real-time stream of active trades happening across the platform — showing who's trading what, with who, and how long ago. Supports card-for-card trades, card + cash deals, and cash-only transactions across all supported game types.
CardTrade AI Advisor:
An AI-powered trade evaluator — collectors describe a proposed trade and the AI analyzes current market data, card condition, set scarcity, and trend direction to return an instant appraisal of whether the trade is fair, favorable, or unfavorable.
Multi-Game Support:
Full support across Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece TCG, and Disney Lorcana — with condition grading (NM/M, PSA 10, BGS 9.5) factored into valuations.
