How to Add Money to Cash App at 7-eleven

Cash App is a peer-to-peer financial application that allows you to make transfers between bank accounts, especially when they are different bank entities when sending and receiving.

Like many other applications, Cash App allows you to load money from your other bank accounts and even Bitcoin, like a virtual wallet. However, the loading options are not the same as other apps.

In this case, 7-eleven is not an option to load money, but in this post, we will explain more about it and tell you about other alternatives.

7-eleven is a convenience store in the United States, one of the most recognized in the entire country. Due to its large number of stores, it offers services and products to reload accounts through its Prepaid Debit Card.

This card is a debit Master Card called “Transact”, which works in this way:

You go to your nearest 7-eleven

You give the money you want to load, in cash only

And they will give you a plastic card that you can use in stores and online portals to buy many things; basically, anywhere that accepts MasterCard.

Once you receive the card, you might think that you can use it as a “normal debit card” to load Cash App, right? However, the application does not allow it.

Open the app and go to the “Home” section. Then, select the “Add Debit Card” option and enter the full 16-digit number shown on the card.

Then you will be asked to provide the expiration number, security code, and billing zip code (the one that you used to activate the prepaid card). When you click on “Add Card” to finish, you will see a message on the screen that says “Card not supported”.

There are basically 2 ways to make deposits to your Cash App account:

Transferring money from your own bank account. You can do this through the “Add Cash” button located in the Home section.

Receiving payments from other people. For example, if a friend owes you money, instead of receiving it in cash, you can ask them to transfer it to your bank account or directly to the Cash App.

As an extra piece of information, we want to share with you that, if Cash App is a tool that you use regularly, you can also request a Visa Debit Card from the company that will be directly linked to your application.

This way, you can use the money in your account directly with the card in places where Visa is accepted.

Also, it is quite useful if you need cash; in this case, you just have to go to an ATM and withdraw the amount you need.

This part is very easy! At the bottom of the screen, right between your balance and the dollar sign (“$”) you will find a card icon, click on it.

Then, select the green button that says “Get Free Cash Card” and follow the steps. They will ask you for basic information about your account and then you will only have to wait 10 business days.

Also, remember that to apply for this service, you must be 18 years or older.
