'YOU' movie poster redesign

In this project, the objective was to create a visually captivating and emotionally charged poster redesign for the "YOU" movie. The key design decisions were meticulously made to evoke a sense of intrigue, suspense, and darkness that resonates with the essence of the film.

The choice of dark and dull colors, such as deep blacks, grays, and muted tones, was intentional to establish an immediate connection with the movie's dark themes. These colors create a brooding atmosphere that encapsulates the mystery and suspense surrounding the plot. The subdued color palette not only amplifies the drama but also serves to immerse the audience in the film's enigmatic world.

The incorporation of blood, hands, dirt in the design serves as a powerful visual metaphor. The blood symbolizes the ominous undertones of murder and mystery, while the hands, marked with blood, represent both the perpetrator and the victim. This symbolism adds depth to the poster, enticing viewers to delve into the intrigue of the story. The visceral nature of blood and hands also taps into human emotions, intensifying the audience's curiosity.

The font is a simple choice to make other components more prominent.
