Opportunity / Gap: India’s Digital Healthcare push (ABDM, eSanjeevani, CGHS, etc.) still doesn’t fully address accessibility for rural and low-literacy patients. Swasthya Prakash is the solution, a system that fits right into the already existing Indian digital healthcare ecosystem.

The Swasthya Prakash project is an AI-enhanced Hospital Management System designed to streamline patient flow and improve accessibility, particularly in government hospitals serving rural populations. By combining multilingual voice guidance, intelligent communication, and digital integration, the Swasthya Prakash removes literacy and language barriers while optimising hospital workflows.

Key achievements include:

1. Accessible to every patient with a basic mobile phone such as a keypad or smart phone, via SMS for registration, navigation, and receiving consultation summary-based SMS via doctor to their patients.

2. Voice-activated consultation summary documentation reduces the administrative burden on doctors, while real-time queue management optimizes patient flow and reduces wait times.

3. The system doesn't just treat medical conditions; it actively identifies patients in need and automates the bridge to financial aid (government schemes) and nutritional support (NGOs), ensuring holistic care. ‘स्वास््य प्रकाश’ is more than a management system; it is a step towards a more humane, efficient, and inclusive public healthcare ecosystem in India.
