When I was a motion designer at Frame by Frame, we collaborated with a US based agency to turn to brand films into an exciting party of light and form.
For the first film I was the main motion designer, doing most of the work, but receiving assistance as the deadline approached.
There were quite a lot of revisions, because when you're working with 3D, you can just experiment a lot more, so when is it time to stop?
I made the colorful swirls and objects in Cinema 4D and made them fit with the provided tracking files. With a project like this there is so much masking and tweaking to be done in After Effects. At least half of the time was compositing the 3D.
