The Challenge
Naichan Dimsum is a premium dimsum producer in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. They offer delivery services within Bandung and the Jabodetabek area. The current issue they are facing is that their customers often complain about not being able to access their order status and not knowing whether their order has been delivered. Currently, the client receives order requests from customers via Instagram direct messages and has to respond to each one individually, which is also exhausting. The client asked me to create a website that allows their customers to place dimsum orders themselves and receive email notifications about their order status.
The Concept
The client wanted a simple website with easy navigation where customers can order dimsum efficiently. Here is what their concerns about:
A simple and minimalist website with a focus on encouraging people to order their dimsum
Although the website has to be simple and minimalist, they still want the looks to be cheerful and fun as it matches their brand identity
Customers will receive an email notification about their order status starting when they place an order.
Scope of Work
Design exploration made in Figma and developed in Framer to ensure a speedy build
4 pages needed: Home, Menu, Blog, and Contact
Integrate some tools to enable order functionality, back-end service from the client's side, and automated email for customers. The tools had to be matched with the client's budget.
