Flaws in the organizational hiring system.
99% of the companies these days hire candidates only based on their “Number of years of experience” and completely neglect their potential even if they don’t have the relevant experience.
Almost all of the job postings state the job description and state the requirements of the years of experience as a must have when they don’t realize the importance of fresh and young blood in the organizational ecosystem
The younger generation who are just stepping into the corporate world have it the worst!, they struggle for months and end up either getting no responses or even if they do get a response they are forced to overwork while being greatly underpaid.
I believe that the modern day hiring system is one of the direct contributors to the unemployment rate and rising poverty in the entire world.
Hard-skills can always be trained to young and energetic minds, but soft-skills cannot be, If a candidate is a fresher with excellent attitude and a personality that welcomes any challenge optimistically then candidate will learn the technical skills required and will succeed in his role even if he doesn’t have the experience before-hand.
Freshers who are shown empathy by the employers and are taken in because of their soft-skills and trained, will value the organization with their whole hearts their entire lives, they will be emotionally attached to that organization and will be more than willing to turn down better offers later in their career just because the way they were treated by their organization, this is how you solve increasing turn-over rates and maintain employee retention, hire young blood, give them the chance to learn and prove themselves, who in-turn will become the leaders who pour out their heart and soul for the success of their organization.
Experienced professionals hired by the organization usually leave at first chance they get a better offer anywhere.
Organizations think they save training time and efforts by hiring experienced professionals but thats exactly the opposite in the long-run.
At the end of the day we all are humans, slave to our feelings and driven by our emotions.
Hire young, hire once, save re-hiring and training costs in the longer run.
