Most patient education material fails

Most patient education material fails for one simple reason: It's written by someone who's never sat across from a scared patient. I spent 3 years explaining PET, CT, and MRI procedures to patients at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, one of Asia's largest cancer centers. So when I built a sample patient brochure, I didn't start with "what sounds professional." I started with the actual questions patients ask in the room: Will it hurt? Will I feel closed in? Is the radiation safe? Attached is a sample PET/CT scan brochure I built (fictional clinic, real clinical accuracy). https://lnkd.in/d-JXSSFg It walks through prep, the scan itself, and recovery in plain language, plus a checklist patients can actually use. If you work in health tech, diagnostic imaging, or patient communications and need someone who's done this face-to-face, not just researched it, I'd love to talk. #PatientEducation #HealthcareContent #MedicalImaging #HealthCommunication
