Waves Nx is immersive audio technology that transforms headphones into a 3D sound system, letting users experience movies, music, and games with realistic spatial audio, and allowing audio engineers to mix music as if in a physical studio using virtual rooms and head tracking. It uses psychoacoustic modeling and head tracking to create a convincing sense of sound sources positioned in space, correcting for headphone limitations and providing accurate monitoring environments for mixing.
