In my role as Video Manager at The Hub Project, I pitched, wrote, directed, filmed, and edited this multi-episode mini-series featuring health care storytellers in Arizona. Within the week that my proposal was approved, I helped to identify, conducted pre-interviews, planned shoots, and acquired gear to fly out and drive around Arizona for a four-day production trip. With two coworkers helping to transport gear and ask interview questions, I focused on setting up four multi-cam interviews across the state, complete with three-point lighting set ups and multiple sources for audio recording. I then filmed b-roll immediately after each interview, as well as in one additional follow-up shoot with each participant. Once production was complete, I flew back home and immediately began ingesting, cataloging, transcribing, and editing all the footage I had captured (across multiple cameras and a drone) into each episode, several of which are posted below.
