DHL Web Experience: Reimagining Shipping & Receiving Flows

Overview A conceptual reimagining of the DHL web experience, optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms. The primary goal of this project was to streamline core logistics workflows by creating a cleaner, more intuitive interface for both sending and receiving parcels.
User Flow 1: Select Delivery Time (Receiver) Designed a frictionless experience allowing package recipients to easily manage and schedule their incoming deliveries.
Intuitive Scheduling: A clean modal interface where users can select a precise delivery time interval.
Delivery Preferences: Simple checkbox toggles for extra options, such as SMS/Email notifications from the courier and direct doorstep delivery.
Instant Confirmation: A clear success state displaying the scheduled tracking number right after confirmation.
User Flow 2: Send a Parcel (Sender) Structured a seamless 4-step wizard allowing users to dispatch a shipment by resuming a previously saved draft.
Draft Recovery: Users can pick up exactly where they left off, with pre-filled data for the destination country, delivery method (Courier, Service Point, or Locker), and package size.
Clear Step-by-Step Progression: The interface guides the user through logical stages: Shipping Configuration, Sender Information, Recipient Information, and final Parcel Details (weight, dimensions, and pickup date).
Persistent Price Summary: A fixed "To Be Paid" block remains visible at the bottom of the screen throughout the entire flow, ensuring total cost transparency before checkout.
A Personal Note 💛 This project originally began as a design assignment for a role at DHL Germany. I had the wonderful opportunity to present these flows during my interview and was thrilled to receive incredibly positive and warm feedback from their Lead Designer. While I ultimately wasn't selected for the position—for reasons unknown to me, but that is just how the industry goes sometimes!—I genuinely enjoyed the challenge. I’m very proud of the work I put into this and am happy to share it here as a conceptual piece.
