Tricked by Design: Exploring Dark UI Patterns. For my media studies project, I designed a magazine about dark patterns, the subtle ways websites manipulate users. I wanted to mix storytelling and visual design to show how powerful (and sometimes dangerous) design decisions can be, specifically on websites.
