Voice Recognition Device for Immediate Assistance

The main objective of this research is to develop a device that recognizes voice signals for immediate assistance integrated with a mobile application. Specifically, it will aim to accomplish the following: 1. To design a device that captures and recognizes voice signals using microphone and Raspberry Pi. 2. To implement Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) using Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API. 3. To develop a mobile application for notifying caregivers or parents regarding the status of elders and infants; and 4. To evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of the voice recognition device.
