Problem & Solution 🤝

The problem was to create a magazine for tourist who come to Istanbul. So, I designed a magazine just for photographers who come Istanbul to take photos.

Goals/Requirements: • Requirement 1: It needs to be organized and takes attention to places in Istanbul. • Requirement 2: It needs to give information about Istanbul. • Requirement 3: It needs to have interesting photos and interviews.

Process 🛣

At first I searched about Istanbul and where can tourist go. Then, I went those places to take photographs of them. Also, searched some well known photographers in Istanbul and interviewed with them about tips for photographers. Finally, I gathered all the data I had and made the design.

Results 🎁

At the end I created a guiding magazine for the people who do not know where to go in Istanbul to take photos.

Problem & Solution 🤝

The problem was to create a cover design for Time magazine which inspired from a designer who lived in 1900s. My inspration come from the great artist Saul Bass.

• Goal 1: To know the style of Saul Bass and his projects. • Goal 2: To make an interview with him as if we were him by empathizing with him. • Goal 3: To design a cover for Time magazine which references to Saul Bass.

Process 🛣

At first I searched about Saul Bass and his works. Tried to understand his style. I focused on movie credits of him. They are simple but creative and make references to the content of the movie. So, I used his style to show himself and made references from his works. At the end, I I made an imaginary interview with him about his life and works.
