The mood board for Slaughterhouse Five. This book has been published many times so I wanted a design that stood out. I also wanted to pay homage to Kurt Vonnegut's style. He illustrated on many of his covers and cartooned throughout his books. This novel covers a heavy subject but is also very funny, so I wanted a design that reflected that.
