RORO is a stylized axolotl mascot created for the Recraft x Contra Mascot Design Challenge 2026. Built entirely in Recraft AI Studio — one character, infinite worlds.

A full brand system built in 4 days: character design with emotion and pose variations, organic swirling logotype (Recraft V4.1 Vector), brand color palette, two illustrated print series (RORO: WORLDS and RORO: STATES — 10+ prints total), sticker pack, packaging design, brand poster, pattern, and animated video clips. 100% of all visuals created exclusively in Recraft AI Studio V4.1.

The name needed to feel like the character — a little chaotic, a little alive. The wordmark was built in Recraft V4.1 Vector: swirling strokes, organic curves, no sharp corners. It reads like RORO moves — unpredictably, but always with purpose. Scales from a 16px favicon to a billboard without losing a thing.

Four colors, no more. Slate blue-grey for the body, coral red for the gills and accents, deep navy as the dark backdrop everything lives against, and a soft lavender for light backgrounds. The palette is compact by design — versatile enough to work across prints, packaging, and digital, without ever feeling scattered.

A print series where RORO travels across dimensions — ocean depths with glowing jellyfish, crystal caves lit by mushrooms, alien landscapes under three moons, volcanic lava fields, enchanted forests with watching eyes, ancient ruins with a map in hand. Each world is a different scene, different mood, different light. The character stays exactly the same.

If WORLDS is about where RORO goes, STATES is about who RORO is. A lantern explorer on surrealist staircases. A steampunk biker with a scarf flying in the wind.
