VEED: A WebFlow System Built to Scale

How LayerTwo turned a new brand direction into a living Webflow system that VEED's own marketing team now runs themselves.

About the client

VEED is a fast-growing AI video editing platform used by creators and teams around the world. After completing their brand refresh, they needed a partner who could bring it to life across their marketing site with speed, and in a way their own team could use to build out landing pages and more moving forward.

The brief

VEED had a clean new brand direction and a clear goal: refresh their marketing site to match the refreshed brand without losing momentum. A few things made this more than a reskin:
The new brand had to work everywhere, in multiple colour modes, on every component.
The marketing team wanted to build and update pages themselves, without a developer in the loop for every change.
The existing SEO and page URLs had to stay intact.
It had to move fast, with the highest-traffic pages first.
In short, not just a redesign, but a system their team could own without any hiccups.

How we approached it

We started by building the foundation before a single page. Type scale, spacing, colour, and a full set of themes that switch between light, dark, and brand variants automatically. That groundwork is what let everything after it move quickly and remain consistent.
From there we built a library of flexible, on-brand components. The rule we set with VEED was simple: give the marketing team real range to compose pages, while making it hard to ever drift off brand. Pick a component, drop in content, publish. No pixel-pushing, no broken layouts.
Accessibility was built in from the start, with full keyboard and screen-reader support. And rather than spin up a fresh site and risk their search rankings, we rebuilt directly on the existing one and preserved every URL.

Rolling with a moving target

The best part of this project was the partnership. VEED is a fast-moving company, and the scope grew as we went, from a component library into a full marketing-site rebuild, then a blog and a newsroom. Timelines shifted, priorities changed, new stakeholders came in. We treated all of that as part of the job. Every time the brief moved, we moved with it, kept the work shipping, and kept everyone in the loop.
That flexibility is a big reason the relationship worked so well. What started as a focused five-week engagement became an ongoing retainer.

What we delivered

A complete Webflow component system with light, dark, and brand themes, ready for the marketing team to self-serve.
Around 30 marketing pages rebuilt on the new brand, with SEO and URLs preserved.
Their highest-value product page, launched on schedule alongside major partner announcements.
A custom navigation and footer, CRM pages, and integrated marketing forms.
New blog designs and a migration plan for 342 articles and legal pages onto a single, consolidated setup.
Site-wide polish, from typography detailing to cross-browser consistency.

The result

VEED got what they actually needed: not just a better-looking site, but a system their own team can build on without us. The brand is consistent everywhere, the marketing team ships on their own, and the search footprint stayed protected through every change.
The engagement that began as a fixed five-week project became an ongoing relationship, and the work continues.
WebFlow designer view. Components built with organized structure and options for easy editing.
