Webflow - Motion Design System

Webflow had a new identity and needed it to come alive in every format, from a three-second social clip to a billboard. The goal was one language of movement, not a pile of one-off animations. So any designer on their team could pick up a piece and know exactly how it should move.
10+ logo animations, scaled to the moment. The biggest is a cinematic 3D reveal for launches and the main stage. Mid-sized versions break the mark apart and rebuild it for video and social. Dedicated versions cover Webflow Conf and Webflow Enterprise. The smallest is the loader inside the product. Same mark, same character, from a stadium screen to a spinner.
The system held up at the largest scale too. I animated two sizzle reels for Webflow’s out-of-home campaigns in Times Square, New York: the OOH Sizzle Reel in 2023 and the Webflow Awards Sizzle Reel in 2024.
To make the system last beyond the project, we turned it into ready-to-use motion templates for posts, webinar promos and ebook launches. Webflow’s team swaps the content and ships, with no motion designer needed every time.
