**Pro Tip for Fellow Designers — Calculating Progress in Figma Did you know you can easily calculate layout sizes and progress values directly in Figma? Here’s a simple trick I often use when designing **progress bars** or proportional layouts. Let’s say your **total progress bar width is 211px**, which represents **100%**. If you want to visually represent **91% progress**, you can calculate the exact width like this: **211 × 91 ÷ 100 = 192px** That means your **progress fill should be 192px** to accurately reflect 91%. Example formula: `Total Width × Desired Percentage ÷ 100` So if your progress bar is **211px** and the progress is **91%** → **211 × 91 / 100 = 192px** This works for: • Progress bars • Layout proportions • Responsive elements • Percentage-based UI components Small calculations like this help keep your **UI precise, scalable, and consistent**. Try it in your next **Figma layout** and you’ll never guess widths again. #UIDesign #UXDesign #FigmaTips
