Japanese Calligraphy was accommodated in Japan, cherished for its doctrinal assertions on emptiness (Mu). The spontaneous ink on paper in Japanese Zen calligraphy plays an important part with it's celebration of the rhythm and continuity of nature to be known directly and intuitively whether with the mind or with brush and ink.
Have you ever imagined the grace of Japanese calligraphy flowing through the curves of Devanagari script?
This project explores this unique fusion, breathing new life into the characters.
Numerous alterations of the English alphabets using the Japanese strokes are all over the internet. But, achieving Mu, the state of nothingness and applying those concept into Devanagari Script was never done before.
