Project: Grey Pyramid Studio Logo & Visual Identity Client / Brand: Grey Pyramid Studio Date: (September 2025) Role: Lead Designer — conceptualization, logo design, color palette, typography, and identity guidelines.

Grey Pyramid Studio didn’t have a visual identity, but they wanted a brand that felt modern, minimal, and refined. The goal was to create a visual mark that would reflect their creative vision, convey strength and stability, and work both in digital and print contexts. The challenge was to balance a simple geometry-based design with a sense of sophistication and uniqueness.

I began with a brand discovery phase, interviewing the founder to understand the mission, values, and target audience.

I conducted research on architecture, geometry, and design trends, pulling inspiration from pyramids, modern minimal forms, and monolithic structures.

I sketched and developed multiple logo concepts, exploring both abstract geometric symbols and monogram styles. From these explorations, we refined a pyramid-inspired mark that felt strong, clean, and timeless.

I selected a color palette of muted greys and complementary neutrals to evoke sophistication and versatility.

For typography, I chose an ethnocentric typeface with clean lines and balanced proportions, giving a modern feel while maintaining readability.

I created a mini brand guideline, showing how the logo should be used, color applications, spacing rules, and incorrect usages to maintain consistency.

Delivered a versatile logo (full color, neon blue, shades of grey in gradient form) that works at small sizes and large formats.

Provided a brand style mini-guide that helps the studio maintain consistency across platforms.

The visual identity gives Grey Pyramid Studio a strong, professional presence, enhancing credibility and clarity in its communications.

This project reminded me how powerful geometry can be: by reducing forms to their essence, you can create a timeless and adaptable mark.

Listening deeply during discovery ensured the design aligned with the studio’s core identity, not just their visible aesthetic.

Creating a mini guide was a smart addition — even small brands benefit when they have clear usage rules from the start.
