Custom Shopify rental application built for Equistasi, a nanotechnology medical device company. Equistasi produces wearable nano-vibration devices used in rehabilitation for Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Ataxia, as well as sports performance optimization.
The client needed a way for customers to rent their devices directly through their Shopify store, rather than only purchasing outright. We built a custom app that integrates seamlessly into their existing Shopify storefront.
What we built:
Custom Shopify app for device rental management
Rental period selection and pricing logic
Integration with the existing Shopify product catalog and checkout flow
Rental collection page ("Dispositivi Equistasi a Noleggio") within the store
Subscription and rental tracking for the Equistasi team
Seamless UX that matches the existing store design
The rental system is live at shop.equistasi.com alongside their standard purchase options, accessories, calibration services, and professional training courses.
