At Fitbod, I was the first Product Manager brought in to professionalize and scale a fast-growing fitness app. Over two years, I helped grow the user base from ~170K to 280K+, drove 30% year-over-year engagement gains, and built the product management foundation for the company.
What I Did
Platform Expansion: Led efforts to bring the Android app to parity with iOS, removing a major source of customer frustration. Partnered with Google to launch the first Android watch app, featured at Google I/O.
Data & Retention: Introduced systematic product practices: data analysis, funnel tracking, and user research — that informed growth loops and increased customer retention.
Strategic Roadmaps: Created the first outcome-based roadmap, shifting the company from a feature-delivery mindset to solving user and business problems.
Team Building: Expanded the product function, hiring and mentoring junior PMs and user researchers, and embedding cross-functional alignment across design, engineering, and leadership.
