I know that there are a billion options of people out there, who all would do amazing the job that you are considering me for in this moment. (Which is probably why you're looking at this project!) Here is a little about me that hopefully helps me stand out from the competition for your work!
I am a former youth pastor turned standup comedian, who works remotely in the world of Freelance in his spare time!
I have a masters degree in Theology and Youth Ministry and an undergraduate degree in the Bible with a concentration in Youth Ministry. I worked as a Youth and Young Adult pastor for 15 years, and have ghostwritten 2 Christian devotional books in 2023. I love writing assignments that incorporate my faith and using my knowledge in theology to create something that ideally benefits others.
In addition to Christian writing, I have developed a skillset in humor writing too. I write jokes for the Funny Editor website every month. (They are all incredibly cheesy dad jokes that I'd never claim in person!) Additionally, I have been hired by businesses to "punch up" their products, games, or advertisement. The most peculiar job I have ever received was when a funeral home hired me to make their ads funny.
I also am frequently hired to work with clients in the world of public speaking. I am able to write speeches for you. I am able to edit and revise your speech, making it better and/or funnier. I am also a very skilled public speaking tutor, and can work with you personally to become a good speaker. I have almost two decades of preaching experience, and a decade of experience as a standup comedian and storyteller. I have had previous jobs as a speech tutor, and love to help others find their creative voice through public speaking.
Lastly, in my jobs as a comedian and youth pastor I have had to master a lot of skills regarding graphic designing and promotion. You are able to hire me to create content for you that you would then be able to post on your social media or share in public. I can do flyers, logos, graphics, ads, and various other forms of promotion for in person or online uses.
