Animated NFT`s

I was called by the NFT digital platform Aura to animate the art work some of the renownest plastic artist of South America. The purpose of the animations was to get minted and become part of the NFT art gallery of Aura. The digital platform contains more than 100 artist from all over the world.

This paintings was such a challege because of the tangible nature of the artworks. They were made with oil paint, collage, garbage, fabrics, wood, cans and all type of diferent materials.

My work consisted of separate the characters and recreate the background`s voids with digital tools. Then rig the characters for animation. Finally composign the lights, textures without breaking the original mood of the pieces.

In other cases, such as "740", I choose to vectorize the entire artwork and rig it in After effect to be able to give it motion the way I intend it. This piece gave me so much more space to creativity because i wasn`t limited by the poses of the characters.
