Reddit is a content-sharing platform with over 100K active communities with over 450M users. Reddit is where people come together to have the most authentic and interesting online conversations. It is free and open for everyone to post, share, vote and discuss.
As a senior iOS developer at Reddit, I had several key responsibilities in iOS projects. These included:
- Providing technical leadership: I provided technical guidance to the development team, ensuring we followed best practices and maintained high-quality standards.
- Designing architecture: I was responsible for designing the architecture of the Modules I own in the iOS app, ensuring that it was scalable, modular, and maintainable.
- Leading development: I led the development of key features of the Reddit iOS app, ensuring that they were implemented to the highest quality standards. I wrote high-quality, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices and design patterns.
- Conducting code reviews: As a senior developer, I conducted code reviews, providing feedback and ensuring that the code met the quality standards set by the team.
- Testing and quality assurance: I was responsible for ensuring that the Reddit iOS app was thoroughly tested and met Reddit's quality standards. I conducted unit testing, ensuring the app was bug and error-free.
- Collaborating with other teams: I collaborated with other teams at Reddit, such as the product management and design teams, to ensure that the Reddit iOS app met the requirements and expectations of all stakeholders.
