THE WHO
Karpos Shoes is a family company proudly based in Nigeria that specializes in exceptionally made leather shoes.
THE WHY
It all started when we noticed a rarity of “made in Nigeria” shoes in Nigeria. When there were, manufacturers often slapped foreign logos or tags on them. The reason for this isn’t far-fetched; “Made in Nigeria” has always been synonymous with inferior quality. We wanted to change that narrative. We believe Nigeria and quality can become synonymous terms, and we are taking bold steps to make it so.
THE WHEN
We got to work researching and finding out where the problem was and how best to solve it. In 2017, equipped with enough research and the skills needed for shoemaking, we got our little shop and started making our magic. From that little place, we have sold shoes within and without Nigeria.
THE WHERE
Our atelier is in Ibadan, Nigeria, and official shoe orders are available on our website.
