Vibmate is a modern dating mobile application built to create meaningful and authentic connections through shared interests and real-time proximity. Unlike conventional dating apps, Vibmate emphasizes safety, genuine interaction, and intelligent matchmaking bridging the gap between casual swipes and real relationships.

The goal was to design a platform that feels warm, fluid, and human using automation, geolocation, and a dynamic matching system to deliver instant compatibility insights. The app integrates secure user verification, personalized chat features, and an algorithmic match engine that evolves with user behavior.

I was responsible for designing and developing the end-to-end user experience for Vibmate, ensuring both performance and emotional engagement. My work included:

Developing a seamless, scalable mobile app with React Native and Supabase.

Designing UI components focused on intuitive swiping, profile discovery, and chat interactions.

Integrating real-time geolocation to show nearby matches dynamically.

Building secure user onboarding with authentication, media upload, and verification logic.

Optimizing performance for smooth animations and fast transitions across devices.

Smart Matching Algorithm: Connects users based on interests, location, and engagement behavior.

Video-calls: Instant, Video-calls uninterrupted.

Real-Time Chat: Instant, private messaging with typing indicators and message status updates.

Profile Discovery Feed: Swipe and explore profiles with modern animations and user-friendly navigation.

Secure Verification System: Ensures safety through user validation and report mechanisms.

Push Notifications: Keeps users engaged with match alerts, messages, and profile visits.

Vibmate’s development leveraged modern mobile-first technologies for performance and scalability:

Supabase: Used as the backend, database, and real-time chat service.

PostgreSQL + PostGIS: For location-based match filtering.

Supabse Storage: For profile pictures, media uploads, and verification assets.
