Client's Expectations
The client only wanted a creative video for their product. They gave me significant creative freedom for how the video will look. However, they stress that the contents must be "Trendy"-esque. They also wanted to show that it is available on TikTok shop and Shopee.
Video Planning
Even though the video is set for advertising, it was sent to me in a form of a "My Makeup Routine" style video. I included the makeup routine bit into the video but emphasize the product in the beginning and in the end. The reason is to display the product as much as possible so that the audience remembers it most.
Video Editing
Motion Graphics
I used Adobe After Effects to animate illustrations, while Davinci Resolve was used primarily to join clips and texts.
Color Grading
I used Davinci Resolve to retouch the contact lenses' color to make them pop more. I went ahead and masked the eyes and use motion tracking to track the mask to the eyes.
