Andela.com: Enterprise Project

Andela is a global talent network that helps elevate talent developing nations, and pairs clients with top engineering talent.

They knew they wanted to migrate their aging marketing site off of Wordpress, and they reached out to me to get more information on the strengths and weaknesses of Webflow.

I was able to successfully demonstrate how Webflow would be a great solution for them, and the project was soon underway.

Their team provided designs, but I was able to build a brand new Enterprise-level Webflow site for their team; in the face of a tight deadline. I also managed the migration of a large body of Wordpress posts and provided leadership and organization to the project.

Of course, I used the Relume library (and Client-First naming conventions) to speed up my process and build the skeleton of the pages at blazing fast speeds!

This site uses Marketo forms, which required a decent amount of custom CSS to get right. I also used Finsweet Attributes like Mirror Click and Disable Scrolling to improve the user experience.

My favorite part of this process was implementing a reverse-proxy server so that we could use Webflow AND Wordpress on the same domain. Many of their oldest pages were not a priority for the Webflow launch, so we set up a server that allowed us temporarily host some pages outside of Webflow.
