Challenge
Weavers need a modern digital tool for designing and visualizing their textiles. Textile designers want to collaborate with clients on designs.
Solution
I built, tested, and released a beta app that brings 3D textile visualization to modern platforms, and am developing it while gathering feedback from users. I interviewed experts, conducted user tests, and researched the capabilities of similar software.
Outcome
Users are excited about the app, and beginning to use it in their workflows. The app now offers some unique features which help it stand out and solve new problems.
