The stonefish is usually cooked in soup and served as sushi in Japan.

Stonefish facts.

The stonefish is one of the most dangerous venomous fish in this ocean and the scientific name is Synanceia sp. Their average size is up to 35 cm in length and they are very fast predators. The Stonefish's common food diet is the fish and crustaceans. They do not eat humans in ocean scientific records but they can kill humans with their venoms.

The origin place of the stonefish.

This kind of fish is native to the sea of the Indo-Pacific region. This fish lives in coral reefs and they are highly located in Australian waters. The stonefish stay all the time around rocks and plants or rest on the sandy bottoms in seabeds because the fish's skin texture and color help them hide and remain camouflaged when rocks and corals are.

Stonefish live a journey in the ocean.

This is the big tragedy of this fish for hunting other fishes with their best hiding powerful skin texture, and they are speed hunting prey but they are not aggressive fish if they are prey fish species and they are small fish. This is the big reason why other big-size prey fishes look like sharks, eels, stingrays, sea snakes, and more prey easily hunt them. But the stonefish have a big solution for protecting themselves from others; is their most dangerous venom.
The stonefish is toxic enough to kill an adult in under an hour because that venom can cause severe pain and in extreme cases, paralysis and death. Thankfully, we have anti-venom for stonefish dangerous venoms but administered must be quickly before heart failure or the difficult stage. As a result, we must wear water shoes and be careful in the sea to protect ourselves from this ocean's prey.
