A client reached out for help with running Google Ads campaigns. After reviewing the website, I identified several critical areas that needed improvement/changing to ensure the success of these campaigns and to maximise return on investment.

2. Analytics and Monitoring Setup:
Set up Google Search Console to monitor website performance and optimise for relevant keywords - foundation for successful Google Ads keyword strategies.
Set up Google Analytics account to track user behaviour which provides insights for future marketing strategies.
Implemented Google Tag Manager to manage all necessary tags allowing for accurate tracking of key events such as form submissions or contacting the client via phone.
3. Google Ads Preparation:
Made sure the website structure and content were suitable for running effective Google Ads campaigns including creating a sitemap to further boost SEO efforts.
Set up all necessary tracking to measure the success of future ads and optimise ad spend.
Outcome:
Strengthening the website’s functionality and implementing necessary tracking tools, I ensured the business was ready for the next steps to run successful Google Ads campaigns.
This improved the potential for gradual advertising success and also benefited the client's overall digital marketing efforts.
