Music is an enjoyable pass-time for most people. Some may prove a proclivity for Pop, some a craving for Classical, and still others a making for Metal. Yet there is one aspect which brings these wildly varying genres together: beyond the shared enjoyment of music, the psychological effects are pertinent and observable in many respects. Some find music to be helpful in maintaining focus while studying, some enjoy it for its political connotations, which vary from artist to artist. Most would agree, however, that it has quite an acute affection on mood. When we listen to happy songs we feel happier, and the inverse is also true.
