We don't know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden force forward. As a 21 year old boy, my life has been a roller coaster but I have enjoyed every twist and turns and come out stronger.

Growing up, I had developed a passion in Travel and tourism. This was also attributed to the fact that I was raised in the town of Kurukshetra, India which is a world's known tourist destination. My interaction with many people from different cultures at a young age made me yearn to serve in the tourist industry when I become of age.

I completed my high-school and had achieved the required points to apply for a course in tourism management. I then started saving in order to relocate to Canada and join my Dream college; George brown college in Toronto Canada.However, I faced a lot of challenges from the immigration office and my visa had to delay for 15 months. Renouncing my dream was not an option. I still kept my hopes high.

I stayed in India as I waited for a sign from the embassy as I engaged in some activities such as watching movies, reading books, and fitness training. I actually developed more interest on in fitness and 15 months I believe was long enough to become a fitness coach and train others too.

Despite this setback, I managed to move in to Canada and settled at Brampton. I joined school and started a diploma in hospitality and tourism management. I couldn't express my joy enough. I got a lot of support from the institution since it has exemplary talents. I not only acquired skills on hospitality but also team work, communication and networking skills.

Dreams can be delayed but can never be denied. I am optimistic that I will eventually graduate and set up a company which is in alignment with my career and my principles of humanity.
