Freelancers often struggle with managing their finances and tracking their expenses in a timely and efficient manner. Traditional bookkeeping methods can be time-consuming and confusing, leading to errors and missed opportunities for savings.

Our journey began with brainstorming to define the project's scope. We narrowed our focus to Dutch freelancers to ensure a tailored solution. We identified essential features while adding our unique touch to stand out in the market. Extensive research helped us understand freelancers' pain points and preferences. Sketches and layout exploration led us to the dashboard with a sidebar interface.

Currently, we're in the initial development phase of Penny, with plans to initiate a seeding round for potential investors. Our goal is to release a public beta by late this year or early next year. We aim to simplify bookkeeping for freelancers in the Netherlands and pave the way for a brighter, hassle-free financial future.
