LEAD SHEET: This page is a summary page that highlights the design elements. it features; technical flats (front and back), fabric, fabric composition and supplier. It is an ideal blueprint (alongside color sheet) for product developers.
COLOR SHEET: This includes color specification and hexadecimal color code for design.
CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET: This is a core and essential part of a tech pack that calls out vital construction details, and placements .It encompasses close up views, reference pictures, internal view, stitch/seam details amongst others and can spread out to multiple pages but must contain every necessary information.
POM: Ideally contains measurements that would run across all sizes, but this sheet contains detailed measurements alongside base measurements. [Note: these POM indicated can only be established if there is a sample (sew by sample) or reference sample. In absence of these, a garment technician is recommended].
SPECIFICATION SHEET: This sheet contains detailed description of each POM.
BILL OF MATERIAL (BOM): As the name implies, it highlights all product components from fabric to trim, label and every single item required to make a complete product (garment). It also includes the color, size and quantity. This helps your manufacturer come up with adequate quotations.
LABEL PLACEMENT: This page provide information for labels and label position/placement.
SIZE SPECIFICATION: This is very vital for production and is partly dependent on manufacturing service. However, in all instance it is vital!!. Hence, I recommend hiring an experienced garment technician to create your size specification.
[P.S: Grading is mandatory, but is best to grade after sample approval]
