ABOUT BLISS

Blue Lotus International Soul School (BLISS) 𓆸 is where ancient wisdom meets modern spiritual education. Founded as a sanctuary for soul emergence, BLISS draws on the profound teachings of Kemet (Ancient Egypt) while honoring universal wisdom traditions from civilizations around the world.
Their mission goes beyond typical online courses—they're building a global community of seekers exploring consciousness, self-discovery, and spiritual transformation. Through online courses, in-person retreats, meditations, and community gatherings, BLISS creates pathways for individuals to reconnect with timeless wisdom while navigating contemporary life.
The challenge: When BLISS came to me, their digital ecosystem was fragmented. Their Wix website couldn't support the sophisticated course delivery, community features, and podcast integration they needed. As their offerings expanded, they required a platform that could grow with them—one that unified their entire educational experience while reflecting the depth and beauty of their teachings.

MY ROLE

I served as both strategic partner and hands-on builder for this transformation, working closely with the BLISS team over 8 weeks to reimagine their entire digital presence.
Discovery & Strategy: I began by understanding not just what BLISS taught, but why it mattered. Through collaborative sessions with the founders, I mapped out their student journey—from first discovery through course completion and community engagement. This informed every design and technical decision that followed.
Design & Brand Evolution: Using Figma, I crafted a visual identity that honors BLISS's Kemetic roots while feeling contemporary and accessible. The design language weaves together symbolism (like the blue lotus 𓆸), carefully chosen typography (Montserrat for clarity, Quattrocento for warmth), and a color palette inspired by ancient temples and natural elements. Every design choice was intentional—creating a digital space that feels both sacred and welcoming.
Technical Execution: I handled the complete migration from Wix to Kajabi, ensuring zero data loss and minimal disruption. This included:
Building 4 distinct course experiences with custom layouts optimized for different learning styles
Setting up podcast hosting and distribution directly within Kajabi
Configuring community features to encourage authentic connection
Creating responsive page templates that work beautifully across all devices
Implementing automation workflows for student onboarding and engagement
Collaborative Refinement: Throughout the project, I worked hand-in-hand with the BLISS team to refine messaging, storytelling, and site structure. Their expertise in spiritual education combined with my technical and design skills resulted in something neither of us could have created alone—a truly collaborative outcome.

THE OUTCOME

A unified spiritual education platform that positions BLISS for exponential growth.
The new Kajabi-powered website isn't just visually stunning—it's a strategic business asset. Students now experience a seamless journey from discovering BLISS through a podcast episode, to joining the community, to enrolling in transformative courses, all within one cohesive platform.
Measurable improvements:
Unified platform: Everything—courses, community, podcast, and retreats—now lives in one place, eliminating confusion and improving student retention
Professional positioning: The elevated design signals that BLISS is a premium educational institution, not just another online course
Scalable infrastructure: Kajabi's robust features mean BLISS can add unlimited courses, community features, and automation without technical limitations
Brand consistency: From social graphics to course modules, every touchpoint now reinforces the same visual identity and messaging
Beyond the technical delivery, this project achieved something deeper: It created a digital home that truly reflects BLISS's mission. Students feel the intention in every interaction—the carefully chosen colors, the meaningful symbolism, the intuitive navigation. The website doesn't just inform; it invites transformation.
For BLISS, this means:
More time focused on teaching and community building, less time managing technical issues
The ability to scale their offerings without platform constraints
A brand presence that attracts their ideal students—seekers ready for deep, transformative work
A foundation for sustainable growth as they expand their in-person retreats and global community
For me, this project represents the sweet spot where creativity meets strategy. It required technical expertise (migration, course building, platform optimization), design thinking (brand evolution, UX design, visual storytelling), and strategic consulting (understanding the business model, student journey, and growth goals). The result is more than a website—it's a living ecosystem that will continue serving BLISS and their community for years to come.

BRANDING & GRAPHIC DESIGN Social image design

Typography: Where Ancient Meets Accessible

Montserrat serves as the heading font, bringing clean geometric lines and contemporary clarity to the brand. Its balanced proportions and excellent readability make it perfect for guiding students through the site with confidence—modern, approachable, and never intimidating.
Quattrocento anchors the body text with warmth and gravitas. This classic serif typeface evokes the weight of ancient texts and scholarly wisdom while maintaining comfort for extended reading in courses and community discussions. Its traditional character shapes resonate with BLISS's connection to ancestral knowledge.
Together, these fonts create a visual conversation between past and present. Montserrat's sans-serif clarity represents BLISS's modern approach to spiritual education, while Quattrocento's classical forms honor the ancient lineages they teach from. The pairing is both elegant and functional—reinforcing the brand as a serious institution of spiritual learning rooted in timeless wisdom.

Colors: Rooted in Earth and Water

The BLISS color palette draws inspiration from natural elements sacred to ancient Kemetic traditions—earth, water, and the lotus itself.
Primary (#65ABAB) is a serene teal that echoes the waters of the Nile and the petals of the blue lotus 𓆸. This calming yet vibrant shade creates a sense of spiritual depth and tranquility throughout the site, serving as the visual anchor for calls-to-action and key brand moments.
Neutral tones (#E7E1DA and #BAA98D) evoke sun-baked stone, papyrus, and desert sand—grounding the experience in the timeless landscapes of ancient Egypt. These warm, earthy hues provide balance and breathing room, ensuring the site feels both elevated and welcoming rather than sterile or cold.
Light and Dark (#FDFDFD and #000000) provide crisp contrast and clarity, ensuring accessibility while allowing the primary and neutral colors to shine. The near-white background creates spaciousness—like temple courtyards flooded with light—while deep black grounds important text and creates visual hierarchy.
Together, this palette creates a sanctuary online: peaceful yet purposeful, ancient yet accessible, rooted in tradition while embracing modern digital experience.
