Smartwyre — Enterprise Web Transformation & Design System

When Smartwyre reached out, they had a pretty common challenge for fast-growing enterprise teams: a WordPress site that was hard to maintain, slow to update, and didn’t reflect the quality of their product. They needed a scalable system — not just a website. Something their marketing, sales, and operations teams could all use without depending on engineers for every update.
My role was to redesign the experience from the ground up and rebuild everything inside Framer, turning a scattered ecosystem into a unified, fast, flexible design system.

My Role

I handled everything from the migration and animations to building custom tools, forms, reports, and even client portals. The whole idea was to make the experience smoother for users and easier for their internal team to maintain.

How I approached the project

1. Moving everything from WordPress to Framer

Instead of doing a straight “copy,” I rethought the structure. I rebuilt the pages with cleaner layouts, smoother interactions, and a CMS setup that the team could actually use without headaches. Animations, reusable components, small details — everything was designed to feel intentional and modern.

2. Integrations & Custom Features

Smartwyre relies on several third-party tools, so I built custom code for:
A custom ROI Calculator
Job Listing
Dynamic reporting components Everything needed to feel native inside Framer, even though the data and services lived elsewhere.

3. Enterprise Reports for Internal Teams

Smartwyre’s team produces client-specific reports, so I built templates the team could customize in minutes — not hours. These were designed to be clean, modular, and easy to update without touching code.

4. Sales Demos & Interactive Proposals

To help the sales team close deals faster, I created interactive demos and proposal layouts they could adapt for each prospect. The goal was simple: make Smartwyre look premium, and simplify everything the reps needed to change for each lead.

5. Client Portals in Power Pages

For clients who needed something beyond marketing pages, I built dedicated portals using Microsoft Power Pages. These tied into Smartwyre’s internal systems so customers could access resources with a secure, professional experience.

6. Lead Capture with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Smartwyre uses Dynamics as their main CRM, so I developed custom forms and submission flows integrated directly into their lead pipeline. Everything was tested end-to-end to make sure data flowed correctly into their sales process.

7. SEO & Accessibility Optimization

Before launching, I improved:
page structure
semantic markup
color contrast
image optimization
metadata and loading performance
The goal was to make the new site not only beautiful and functional, but also search-friendly and accessible to all users.
